Recently, I had the pleasure of reuniting with Amy, Jimmy and their little ones. We had their session at home, close to the holidays, a few months after a new addition to their family. There's a certain magic about doing sessions at home - everything has a personal touch. Every corner tells a story, and there's a palpable warmth and comfort that makes its way to the photos.
One sweet thing that caught my eye was a little display for Lily's artwork. Crayon drawings and finger paintings that add more warmth to a home than any traditional artwork. It's these little features that make my heart burst, and that show how much love lives in a house. Home is my favorite, because there's no rush - a mixture of directed but also genuine, unfiltered moments that might happen in imperfect lighting - but that capture a family's magic. Happy Holidays to these four, and thank you so much for inviting me back into your home!
