I always love stepping into family's homes for sessions - it's so much more personal, kids are at ease, and there's just more personality to the space. When I chatted with Sheryl after arriving to her home, I soon realized that she is also a budding photographer! And there's something extra special about that. Being in another photographer's home feels like entering a secret garden, where every little nook has a bit more creativity, and a bit more appreciation for the light that might touch it.
This session I just felt like there was space to create! We kept Matteo moving and playing, had some snack breaks, and made some perfectly imperfect photos together. Candid, beautiful, because 'perfect' just isn't fun.
